Imperial Electronic supplies push-to-reset thermal overload circuit breakers from 5A right up to 40A — the resettable alternative to a blown fuse. When current climbs past the rated threshold, the internal bimetallic strip heats, trips, and cuts the circuit; once it cools, a single press of the button restores power. No spare fuses to keep in stock, and no downtime waiting for one.
Every breaker in this range uses a heat-resistant Bakelite body with quick-connect spade terminals and a knurled panel-mounting nut, so it installs through a single drilled hole in an enclosure face. All units are CE marked and rated for 125/250V AC, with the compact IM07 series also rated to 32V DC for low-voltage battery and automotive work.
We stock two body sizes. The compact IME IM07 covers 5A, 6A, 8A, 10A, 12A, 15A, 20A, 25A, and 30A — the usual choice for submersible water pumps, small inverters, and industrial control boxes. The larger CaLiCanH series runs from 10A to 40A on an oversized Bakelite body with copper contact points and a metal threaded bushing, built for the sustained high loads found inside solar inverters and UPS units.
Buying Guide
Size the breaker to your circuit, not your appliance — pick the next standard rating above the normal running current so ordinary start-up surges don't trip it, but low enough to still cut in on a genuine fault. Then choose the body: the compact IM07 (5A–30A) suits pumps, control boxes, and general panel work, while the larger CaLiCanH body (10A–40A) is the right call for solar inverters and UPS units where the breaker carries a heavy load continuously and needs the extra thermal mass. Confirm your supply too — both sizes handle 125/250V AC, but only the IM07 series is rated for 32V DC, so it's the one to use on battery and low-voltage DC circuits. Finally, check your panel: all units mount through a single hole with a knurled nut, so measure the cut-out before ordering.
