LY2 8-Pin PCB Type Relay Base

This PCB-type base mounts a compatible LY2-style 8-pin relay directly onto a printed circuit board, with its own pins soldered to the board while the relay stays a removable, plug-in part above it. Internal metal spring contacts grip each relay pin firmly for a reliable connection, and because only the socket is soldered, a relay can be pulled and replaced during testing or field repair without any desoldering. The molded black plastic housing insulates the contact block for safe handling on a populated board. It's used in PCB-based relay control circuits, industrial control and automation boards, general electronic control equipment, and power-switching or interface circuit boards wherever a relay needs to stay serviceable after the board is assembled.
