DB-9 RS232 Connector Female (9-Pin D-Sub Socket)
The DB-9 RS232 Female Connector is the mating socket half of the standard 9-pin D-sub serial pair, constructed with a nickel-plated steel shell and copper alloy socket contacts set in a blue thermoplastic insulator. Solder-cup termination allows a cable to be made up to any required pinout, and the asymmetric D-shaped shell enforces correct orientation every time the joint is remade. It is the connector to reach for when building or repairing serial extension leads, null-modem cables, and equipment-end adaptors for PLCs, CNC controllers, POS systems, industrial scales, and console ports on network hardware. Given how much serial-controlled machinery remains in daily service across Pakistan's workshops and retail counters, having both genders on hand is what lets a technician build the exact lead a job needs rather than hunting for a ready-made one.
