DB-9 RS232 Connector Male (9-Pin D-Sub Plug)
The DB-9 RS232 Male Connector is the standard 9-pin D-sub plug used throughout serial communication wiring, built with a nickel-plated steel shell and copper alloy pin contacts on a blue thermoplastic insulator. Its solder-cup termination lets you make up a custom cable to any pinout you need, while the D-shaped shell prevents the plug from ever being inserted upside down and the two 4-40 jack screw holes lock the joint against vibration and accidental pulls. It remains the everyday connector for PLC and CNC programming leads, POS terminals and receipt printers, weighbridge and industrial scale heads, GPS and modem links, and the RS-232 console ports still fitted to switches, routers, and UPS units. For technicians across Pakistan maintaining older industrial and retail equipment that never moved off serial, this is the connector that keeps that hardware talking.
