A push switch is operated by pressing a button rather than moving a lever or rocker, which makes it the natural choice wherever a control has to be hit quickly and unambiguously — a reset, a start, a main power cut. Imperial Electronic stocks three sizes in Lahore, covering both of the behaviours a push button can have.

The 8mm and 16mm buttons are momentary: they make contact only while held down and spring back the instant you let go. That is what reset lines, manual interrupts, and signal triggers need, and it is why both are wired normally open with simple 2-pin solder lug terminals. Both use a threaded metal bushing with a supplied nut and washer, so they clamp securely to a panel of any thickness and can be re-tightened years later.

The 22mm SESIBO AD2212 is the opposite: a latching on/off power switch that stays where you leave it, marked with the universal I/O symbol and rated for 10A at 250V AC or 20A at 12V DC. It snaps into its cut-out on integrated side clips with no nut required and terminates in spade quick-connects, which is why it is fitted in volume on children's electric ride-on cars and battery-operated bikes as well as in industrial panels.

Buying Guide

Choose the action before the size. If the button must stay on after you release it, the 22mm AD2212 is the only latching option here and the only one rated to switch real power — 10A at 250V AC, 20A at 12V DC. If it should spring back, take the 8mm or 16mm momentary button, and note that both are control-rated rather than power-rated: the 16mm carries 3A at 250V AC, so drive a relay or a logic input with it rather than a motor directly. Between the two momentary sizes, pick by panel space and how the button gets pressed — 16mm gives a larger target for a gloved hand or an urgent press, while 8mm lets you fit a dense row of controls on a narrow fascia. Then check your mounting: the 8mm and 16mm use a threaded bushing and nut that suit any panel thickness, whereas the 22mm relies on snap-in clips sized for a specific panel thickness, so confirm your material before ordering. Finally, match the termination to how you will build — spade quick-connects on the 22mm take pre-crimped leads, while the solder lugs on the smaller buttons mean a soldering iron.
