Switches

Switches for power, control and position sensing — KCD-series rockers from 6A to 30A, 8mm to 22mm push buttons, 2 to 6 pin bat handle toggles, and SPDT limit and micro switches including LXW5 and genuine Omron Z-15.

Imperial Electronic stocks switches for power, control, and position sensing — from the panel-mount controls an operator actually touches, which have to feel positive under the finger and keep working after tens of thousands of presses, to the limit and micro switches that a machine actuates for itself to sense travel and hold a safety interlock closed. Between them they cover both halves of switching: the deliberate human input and the automatic one.

The range is organized by switch family, because the choice usually comes down to how the switch behaves when you let go of it — or, in the case of limit switches, what moves the lever in the first place. Browse a family below to see the sizes, ratings, and contact arrangements within it.

Everything listed is stocked in Lahore for same-day collection and shipped nationwide, in retail quantities for a single repair and wholesale volumes for panel builders, appliance manufacturers, and equipment assemblers.

Buying Guide

Start by asking what operates the switch, because that alone splits the range in two. If a person presses, flips, or rocks it, you are choosing between the push buttons, rockers, and toggles. If a moving part of the machine does the pressing — a cam, a door, a carriage reaching the end of its travel, a float rising in a tank — you want the limit and micro switches, which are built around a lever rather than an actuator and are wired 1NO + 1NC so the same switch can both start one circuit and break another as it trips. Once that is settled, the rest follows. Settle the switching action next, because it is the one thing you cannot work around later. A momentary switch makes contact only while pressed and then springs back — that is what you want for reset, interrupt, start, and signal-trigger duty. A latching on/off switch stays where you put it and is what a main power control needs. Next, size it to the panel: measure the cut-out you have or intend to drill, since 8mm, 16mm, and 22mm are not interchangeable once the hole is made, and remember a larger actuator is easier to hit in a hurry or with gloves on. Then check the rating against the actual load rather than the supply — the 16mm momentary button is a 3A control-circuit switch and should be driving a relay or a logic input, not a motor, whereas the 22mm AD2212 carries 10A at 250V AC or 20A at 12V DC and is built to switch real power directly. Finally, look at how it fixes and wires: threaded bushings with a nut suit any panel thickness and can be tightened later, snap-in clips are faster to fit but expect a specific panel thickness, and spade terminals let you use pre-crimped leads where solder lugs would mean a soldering iron inside a finished enclosure. If the control needs a third position — a genuine off between two live states, or a spring-return on both sides for forward/reverse jogging — look at the toggle range rather than the rockers and push buttons, since that is where the 3-pin and 6-pin centre-off and double-reset arrangements live, most of them on screw terminals at 15A 250V AC.
